It's good to have goals

Yesterday's photo shoot was challenging. There were 5 models and me and the use of some of my models as my assistants. Thank Goddess most are artists themselves and understood the difficulties of such a shoot. Today, I will develop the 6 rolls of film with my fingers crossed in hopes I have at least 2-3 outstanding images. You see, I've made a promise to myself that yesterday's shoot will conclude this series I've been working on for 3 years. Last Thursday was spent focusing and really zero-ing in on what to include in the body of work. The film I am about to develop should have the images that will fill those empty spaces.

I also began work on the new page for the website. I want to have both aspects complete within the next 2 weeks. Then it's time to contact some people and hope I can solidify an exhibit.

On a side note: The beautiful Danae - 14 year old girl whom I've known for at least 5 or 6 years now is truly growing into the most gorgeous young lady. I'm not surprised. I've been photographing her sister Karissa since she was her age now and she is equally as gorgeous. I will certainly be doing a studio shoot with them as soon as I can. Here is a photo of her and one of me composing for a shot with my male model Matt:

a few test shots

Thanks to my colleague and former professor J.H., I have found a new photographic location. I shot 3 rolls of film today to get a feel for the place. I'm not sure how much potential it has yet, but it is fairly secluded. Here are a couple of bad digital test shots. I felt safe inside and I believe I can spend a significant amount of time there to explore ideas. We'll see what happens.

I also will be adding work to my website by month's end, I hope. I need to show SOMETHING.
